The Role

Elite care,
elevated setting

At Alpine Care, we bring elite, clinic-level athletic recovery and luxury wellness directly to clients across the Les Arcs region. Founded on a deep background in sports injury management, our therapists transform any space into a premium wellness sanctuary — combining exceptional technical expertise with unmatched convenience.

We are actively scouting elite freelance wellness massage providers who are ready for an exceptional experience throughout the winter season.

Candidate Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience

A recognised certification in Massage Therapy, Sports Therapy or wellness therapy, together with a minimum of 2 years of active professional practice in wellness and sports massage. You must also hold an active professional indemnity insurance.

Trained outside France? National certifications from any EU country are accepted — we look at your training and your hands-on practice, not a particular qualification level.

Advantage

Prior experience operating within ski resorts or high-altitude athletic environments is highly valued — but not mandatory.

Profile

Solid control of spoken English, good human manners, strong relationship and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a mobile treatment setting.

Documents

A valid EU passport, valid driver's licence within the EU, professional liability insurance covering work in France, and proof of freelance practitioner status.

Availability

Available for the full winter season — early December to mid-April.

Please note: as part of the interview, candidates may be asked to perform a 10–15 minute hands-on treatment as a competency assessment.

Candidate Questions

Answered honestly

Do I need a specific diploma level to apply?
No. We ask for a recognised certification in massage or wellness therapy plus at least 2 years of professional practice. National certifications from any EU country are accepted — we look at your training and your hands-on practice, not a particular qualification level.
Is accommodation provided for the season?
Yes. Accommodation is arranged and covered by Alpine Care for the whole season, and your airport transfers are reimbursed in both directions.
Do I have to find my own clients?
No. We book the clients and plan your day, so you always know where to be and when. You never chase work.
I'm not registered as a freelancer in France yet. Is that a problem?
No. All administrative, marketing and housing processes are taken care of by us, including the paperwork for the French authorities. You apply, and we handle the process with you step by step.
Do I need previous ski resort experience?
No. Experience in ski resorts or high-altitude athletic environments is valued but not required. Everything mountain-specific, from accommodation to transport between the four resorts, is arranged for you.
How long is the season and when does it start?
The season runs from early December to mid-April in Les Arcs, France. We interview and confirm therapists on a rolling basis, and early applicants get first pick of accommodation.
What does the selection process involve?
Four steps: we check your CV against the requirements, then a video call, then a short 10 to 15 minute hands-on treatment as a competency assessment, then a written offer confirming your pay and bonus.
